Who are the sweetest people in the world? The diabetics! Just kidding.Diabetes is a serious disease. Basically a diabetic cannot properly manage the sugar content of his body. This sugar is not only from "sugar" but from other sources like fat, protein, and carbohydrates. It's not okay for a diabetic to drink diet coke, but eat candies and chocolates?
The problem in diabetes is with a certain hormone called "insulin" which regulates our sugar. Diabetes can be an auto immune disease which means the body itself destroys the cells that produce insulin. It can also be inherited. The insulin of diabetics can be lacking or can be enough, but the body has the resistance to it. The result is an excess of sugar in circulation.
Insulin was the first thing inserted to my body when i was young at two years old.
My parents would always be stressed and bothered every time they sent me to hospitals, with my eyes up in convulsions and shaking, and fainted, and unconscious. I woke up the following day "okay" and "well" and back to normal again. I grew up like this, until now.
I remember my school days, so many absences in a month. Makes fifteen days of school, when I got sick during Elementary days.
I suffered night blindness when i was a fourth grader. I saw nothing, even during the day time. My mom cried out for help, and sent me to the doctor again, injected me an insulin. The process went on almost everyday.
When i reach my college days, i was already aware with whats going on with me when I'm on seizure. I go out of my house with insulin on my pocket. Just to be sure for my medication.
Recently, i was brought back to the hospital, suffered from Hematoma. My head banged on the floor through the hard object, unconscious. I was in the kitchen that time preparing for food. I then, remembered doctors advised not too much work and be get upset, and leave all the worries behind.
Now, I'm enjoying my life in the gym, with friends around and my family. With these, I help people crusading about diabetics.
Experienced a happy life, do the exercises everyday and a good nutritious diet..
I would recommend a healthy lifestyle to people suffering diabetes like me.
A diabetic can manifest frequent drinking, frequent urination and frequent eating, and weight loss. All this can be explained by the problem with sugar and insulin. The excess sugar acts like a sponge and pulls out water from the body resulting in frequent urination. Because of this, the diabetic becomes thirsty, that's why he drinks more often.

Princess For a Day
One mom's birthday recollection.....
I can still remember my 7'th birthday party. It was a late afternoon party in august. I was wearing a nice dress that made me feel like a princess. I can hardly remember the food, but i still recall the excitement of the games; the highlight of which was the statue dance with all the kids very eager to join.
By the time i got to blow my candles, it was already dark. I remember posing for the camera with the cake in front of me. But before the camera clicked, my yaya placed a bucket hat on my head so
i wont catch a cold. A princess with a bucket hat - that was me!
Several things are constant in children's parties. There are the balloons, and the little chairs and tables. There's the food with fried chicken, spaghetti and ice cream as the most basic. There are the games with "Hit the pot," :Trip to Jerusalem," and the "pabitin," being the most popular. And then it's time to blow the candles with everybody singing the birthday song. It seems easy to prepare these parties. But through the years, things have gotten a little more complicated.
Today, kids expect more theme parties./ The popular ones are usually derived from television shows or hit movies like "Justice League," "Blues Clues," and "The Incredibles." From the invitation to the decor, some parents can transform a simple venue into a magical kingdom - with a lot of help, of course, from a party planner.
My dad says that during his time, a special occasion was marked by the presence of chicken on a table. Nowadays, there are many food combinations to choose from, whether home cooked or catered. I still think, though, that either having a lechon or having a roasted beef spell B-I-G party.
Todays kiddie parties are not exactly more expensive than before. Perhaps, parents just have more options with regards to themes, costumes, and decor. Nevertheless, it's still up to the parents to go lavish or simple. In the end, it's the basics that matter; the birthday celebrant, his family and his guests. They are the one's who make good, or bad, memories. Everything else is just icing on a cake!

Funny About Me
First thing in the morning, im rushing to the bathroom to take a bath, and took off my coffee and dress up, and preparing myself now off to work. My mother noticed me that im hurrying...She asked; "where you going..?" and i replied to her... "Im going for work" and said again..."What...? where is that work? ....and i replied again.."Going work with my computer."
I should be the first one to sit down, in front of the computer., because my sister is also rushing down to the computer. I see to it that i will be the first one to sit on my job...yes, im working at home with my computer on.
